Common Eligibility

Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass or exceed the ILEA Exit Standards
ILEA Tier 1 certification / College Degree preferred, but not required
Must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment as a peace officer
Must have vision correctable to at least 20/40
No felony convictions and must be able to possess firearms
No domestic battery convictions
Must not have a history of narcotic/drug abuse

Applicants shall download the application, fill it out in its entirety using black ink, then submit the completed packet along with any required documents to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 600 Memorial Drive Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
